Jasper is still scary... I don't care what their record is....

How did the D-end that came back do tonight? Douglas Spikes? Wasn't he all-district as a freshman?

He is playing linebacker..he is one huge LB. He also is playing RB..go figure. He shouldn't be..especially in the spread. He looks slow to find the hole..which wasn't there for him tonight. On one play he showed some outrageous speed though by almost chasing down a very fleet footed Kirbyville back before he scored. I was shocked to see that big man motor down the field the way he did. Scouts should be drooling over this kid. Hope he can put together a good season and get some looks somewhere.

Jasper could be 0-for the the last decade, and I would still be worried to see them across the field!

no matter what people say... jasper has a good team... they are big , fast , strong, and even though they are 0-4 right now they ARE going to win quite a few district games and can very well be considered a playoff team as silsbee seems to be slipping

Yeah, I agree. KV is one of the teams to beat BH every time they have played (in the past three years anyway) :!: KV is definitely very good. And they are now getting their recognition. They probably could have beaten BH this year also :!:

Anyone know how Moye is doing? He's at Diboll if I'm not mistaken. That kid was a beast. Bet they're fortunes would be different if he were still at the helm.

If there is one kid in this state ready to go it's Gilbert Moye. The Jacks are 3-1 and Gil has yet to play a down. If he is as accurate throwing on Varsity as he has been on JV, look out!!
