Come out to Sour Lake this weekend to the NEW HAWK GYMNASIUM and watch one of the Elite tournaments in SE Texas and the Best Small School Tournament in the state of Texas!!!!!  The tournament has several state ranked teams in 3A and 2A coming to see who can endure what as known as the HJ Hawk Marathon!!!  There will be games going on in two gyms from 9am to 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!!!!!  Best of luck to all the teams!!!

Pleasant Grove is ranked #5 in state in 3A in this week's TABC poll. HJ plays them Thursday night.

Hmmm- I wonder how they got that ranking if they are so bad?  How did the staff know that such a highly ranked team is, in fact, not very good?  Who does kountze play?

Pleasant Groves record is like 0 and 10 but their football team just lost last friday and they had 11 varsity kids playing football.  Their Jv has basically been playing a varsity schedule.  If you look at their record and overlook them they will beat you.  They are a very very good team.  HJ better come to play.
