There have been plenty of ridiculous and off hand comments on here but this one takes the cake.
Making fun of a HS kid who is getting a scholarship to play football.

Your a class act bigdaddyblue, congrats on helping Crosby reach a new low.

I don't care where a kid is from they are kids, they may and do say stupid stuff. Any HS kid, in any sport who choses to play at the next level, scholarship or not deserves some respect.

Wrong again!!!  If you were D2 we would have put y'all out just likwe did in 08.  I know you remember that, and that was one of our less talented teams.  I've said it once and I'll say it again, Crosby is decent at football but not on the same level as Brenham and Dayton.  We play in championships, where Crosby exits in the 2nd round every year.  Come to think of it, I can't think of a sport where y'all are better than Brenham.  Crosby's goal is to make the 2nd round.  Brenham's goal is to win a championship.  Just making the playoffs, only satisfies you so many times, but I guess you can't expect much more than that from Crosby.  If y'all can't do anything with that QB in 2010,  I don't know if y'all ever will.

I don't have a dog in this fight....just a long time Texas high school football fan. Brenham would have beaten Crosby. You beat Dayton in a turn-over infested monsoon. There I said it. Let the slamming begin.  ;)

I did not know that turnovers were not apart of the game........great teams do not turn the ball over....maybe if dayton was so great they could have hung on to the ball!!!!!  The D caused the turnovers and D is apart of football!!!! I believe Crosby played on the same field and 0 turnovers..... let me guess.....it was the rain that made them hold on to the ball...... rain only effects dayon players......ok....

Ya, that's just like Waller beating us, but losing to Dayton by close to 40.  Then we go on to beat Dayton by 6.  You can't go off of another teams score.  Thats just dumb.  It's flat out obvious that Brenham is better than Crosby.

[/quote]I agree---for somebody to denigrate playing at SFA is asinine----people that have not experienced the grind of college football have no idea of what they are talking about . I respect the young men that have the talent, desire, and most of all the determination to continue playing after high school
