Guest Kelly Football Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 With the loss to Vidor and several games left is it a must win against Central? In an 8 team District a team with 2 loses can be left out. Let's hear your thoughts on this District.
KFDM COOP Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Every game is a must win in this District. Nederland does have their backs against the wall but there's alot of football to be played.

KFDM COOP Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 I think they bounce back as well. One of the best Coaching staffs in the area. Huge game with Central Friday. They win that their back in business, if not then man it's a war until the end.
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hard to say? I think Dayton and Central get in for sure. PN-G/Nederland is the big question for 3rd. Ozen's not going to make it folks.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Most certainly. Just like us. You have 2 loses this early your not going to make it. We have to beat Vidor and we will.
piratefan Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Most certainly. Just like us. You have 2 loses this early your not going to make it. We have to beat Vidor and we will.Is that a guarantee??

WOS92 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 This game is a must-win if they don't want to get caught in a tiebreaker situation again. I think Central and Dayton are both big challenges for them, and PN-G/Nederland is always a "pick em."
Guest GoStangs Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 If NED falls to Central, all is not lost for them. Two losses won't eliminate anyone since 3 teams are going to the playoffs. They certainly are in a tough position since they still have a lot of the district favorites to play, but at this stage of the year, it's way too early to say a team is out of contention simply because they lost their district opener. However, like 92 said, with 2 losses, they may be forced into a tiebreaker, and that's a tricky situation to be in, at best. If they lose to Central, and Central and/or Vidor is in the tiebreaker with them, they could be in trouble; if it's two other teams, they're still sitting pretty.
Matt Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 I think everyone should keep an eye on PN-G, Before the season it was central, ozen & nederland and dayton battling it out for 3rd Now everyone is talking about central, dayton & nederland and vidor battling ot out for 3rd, while PN-G is taking care of business every week and flying just under the radar
piratefan Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 I wouldnt count anyone out..it will come down to the last couple of weeks..
NewIndian Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 As long as no one wants to notice and keeps on counting us out , we will continue to fly under the radar and take care of buisness. Hopefully no one come out yelling district champs or anything that makes you everybodys target. 8)
Guest Ozen Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Anyone 0-1 in District it's must win this week.
tvc184 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 ............ while PN-G is taking care of business every week and flying just under the radar No such thing as flying under the radar in district. If there was such a thing, it sure wouldn't be PN-G.
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 We have to win Friday, our Coaches will have us ready to go i hope.
NewIndian Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 No such thing as flying under the radar in district. If there was such a thing' date=' it sure wouldn't be PN-G.[/quote'] Sure there would nobody seems to think we will get into the playoffs they are already counting us out
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I think PN-G has a better chance at getting in than Nederland at this point.
Razor Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Hell, I think PNG may be the odds on favorite to win the district. None of this flying under the radar mess as far as I am concerned.
SETXsports #1 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 You have to think Coach Newmann will have the Dogs ready after last week. I look for Nederland to rebound and win.
Guest Jags Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 I know the Dogs have a great program and all but after tonight you'll be 0-2.
Guest Jags Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Dem Dogs sure are quite still. After tonight you won't hear from Dem for weeks.
piratefan Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 I predict the Dogs to win this one..Good game but better coaching will come out in this game
