According to another article in the paper, Derrick Hall may attend Lamar:
Former Central star Derrick Hall is reported to have been committed to Tulsa University but may still decide to attend LU and play in front of hometown fans this fall, according to a friend.
Here's the full article:

Hope he chooses LU, he's a former ESPNU 150 recruit.

Here's an article from Rival's Tulsa site, for those who don't have a subscription, this is what they say about hall.

As reported earlier today, Hall told InsideTulsaSports.com that he has narrowed his choices to Tulsa and hometown Lamar after visiting TU last weekend. It is unclear whether or not the 5-foot-10 and 210-pound Navarro running back has enough credits to transfer out in December, so he may have to wait until February to sign a letter of intent.

Edit: Another article on Hall-

Two years ago, superior athlete Derrick Hall was a national Top 100 prospect that signed with Texas A&M. After two years at Navarro in Corsicana, Texas, he is one of the better running backs in the junior college ranks and is going through the recruiting process all over again. Holding seven offers, Hall says he is down to Tulsa and one other school.

Derrick Hall
As part of the 2008 high school recruiting class, Hall was a 4-star prospect at Beaumont (Texas) Central. He was rated by Rivals.com as the No. 93 overall prospect nationally and the No. 14 prospect in the state of Texas. He was also labeled the 9th-best athlete in the country.

Hall, who possesses incredible speed, made an official visit to Tulsa last weekend and said the trip was "good."

"It felt like family, I really like Tulsa," he added.

Hall was hoping to transfer out of Navarro this month but may have to wait another semester.

When asked about a timeframe for his decision, he replied, "Soon, very soon."

Several colleges have been after the 5-foot-10 and 210-pounder, but his top two choices may surprise you.

"I've got offers from Ole Miss, Baylor, Hawaii, Arizona State, Arkansas, Tulsa and Lamar," said Hall. "To be honest, it's out of Tulsa and Lamar."

In 11 games as a sophomore at Navarro this season, Hall rushed 114 times for 1,011 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 292 yards and four more scores.

Stay tuned to InsideTulsaSports.com for the latest breaking news on Tulsa recruiting.

So did he sign today, or not? If he signs today, he is going to Tulsa. Looks like the only way he'd come home is if he doesn't have enough credits to transfer now. Is that what I'm reading?

He hasn't signed yet, doesn't know if he has enough credits to sign and transfer this semester.
