Coach_J Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 The way Sabine Pass has been playing I will take them by 15. Good luck Hunter Cruthirds. This yo home boi Jared from Burkeville
Bobcat1 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Sabine Pass went to the Orangefield tournament right?
Evolution Posted December 18, 2009 Author Report Posted December 18, 2009 Yes they was there.Sharks better come ready to play or Orangefield will bring them there 1st home lost in over a year.Never saw orangefield play but hoopinsider has them to win by 30 so they must be pretty good
whsalum Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Depends on which O-field club shows up and which SP clubs shows up.Both of the clubs have been hard to figure so far this year. They have both been impressive in some wins and then get beat by clubs theyshould beat.Orangefield will probably be a little deeper but SP has 2 quality players who can score.I'll take the sharks in this one by a bucket at home.
True Blue Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 SP is a prettygood small school team And Orangefield is a good 3a school. Its like a good lightweight fighting a good heavy weight. The big guy will win most of the time But that is why they play the game ;D JMO Orangefield will just out last the small school.
Bobcat1 Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I've watched both teams play, OF will win by a lot.

HoopInsider_Cooper Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Can't believe we haven't heard from beeninikes on this one!If Orangefield loses to Sabine Pass, it's time for some soul-searching in Bobcat Country!
bobcatfan Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009
Can't believe we haven't heard from beeninikes on this one!If Orangefield loses to Sabine Pass, it's time for some soul-searching in Bobcat Country!
I agree with that statement. I know Orangefield hasnt been very consistent this year and they would definitely qualify as one of the biggest underachievers so far this year. That being said, i'm a little surprised at the predictions on this thread, especially from CATMAN and whsalum (whose opinions i respect). I always like to look at Coops spreads (and argue with him about a few of them, lol) and they are usually pretty close. Orangefield normally doesnt blow teams out, so i dont see them covering the 30 pts, but i'd be very surprised and disappointed if they lost.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Word is that OF stud Zach Hayes will miss the game tonight due to injury. Spread has been adjusted.

HoopInsider_Cooper Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Heard he is out with ankle injury and would miss some time. Beeninnikes is holding back!!!!!

And now Nikes you know the reason for my pick.Hayes is the diffference maker for the Cats and without him they may struggle to score.SP will get up for the game at home against the bigger school.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Please tell this little 1-A is on a lucky streak against the bigger schools. Surely Orangefield will mop the floor with these guys.
whsalum Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I wouldn't call them on a lucky streak.Their record isn't that good and so far I think they are under achievers but regardless of the size of school they have a couple of pretty god ballplayers and it looks like O-field will be without their best player.
Guest THE SCOUTER Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009
Please tell this little 1-A is on a lucky streak against the bigger schools. I agree with whsalum, Jones is a really great player and he scored twenty one against the Bobcats. And i understand that Hayes was out, but that is not the whole Bobcat team. Also to refresh your memory they beat your HF team and just beat the Bobcats tonight.
herman Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Right on The Scouter, excellent point!
Evolution Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 I have to give credit to the coach he drew up the prefect plans to win this game.Sharks played great and refuse to lose at home infornt of there fans.Jones played great. The whole team did Teamwork is everything and the sharks had it tonightBluedove come on now a lucky streak? Give credit when credit is due I mean they beat your team by 30.

I first noticed the team when they beat HF and I thought it was interesting when a 1-A (?) played a 3-A
balla234 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 When they play any bigger schools that are halfway decent, then they lose. end of story
braves24 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 BC beat SP by 15 without one of their starters. I think they will do good in dist, maybe playoffs.
Wildcatter Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 OF beat BC by 40 could have been much worse, they just had a bad shooting night, but best effort of the year. They will be fine.
