I thought you knew the Tiger team better than that.

Hill, Thomas, and Jones are the only seniors in Silsbee's top 9 rotation.

Silsbee will have three starters returning in Lane, Stallworth and Gaines along with top bench players Harris, Lockett and Barrett.

Silsbee only has 4 seniors on the team, Hill, Thomas, Jones and Simmons. They lose alot with Hill and Thomas, but have a great nucleous coming back.

I wouldn't call them "down" next year. Just maybe not as good as this year. But, HJ will be in the same boat. ;)

Trust me, you want to be district champs in 21-3A, particularly last year and this year. Even though HJ made it to the state tourney and Silsbee didn't, HJ's route was way tougher than Silsbee's was, which really made their run through the playoffs impressive. The same will hold true this year. Whoever get's runnerup will have to face Cleveland and Navasota before regionals and then probably get Hudson in the regional semis.
