CThoops Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 If Nederland plays like they did in this game then Yes, they could win distict.
overtime Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 The Bulldogs are very confusing this year, they go from barely crawling by Anahuac in overtime to beating Ozen with Franks back. Who knows how they're going to play the next game.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Just GOTTA love this for Nederland...Great job guys, keep it up.As for Ozen, I just plain love it.......

He isnt one to take off just because he has to rebuild... He will be in Kountze next year.

I watched them lose to Aldine Eisenhower in the YMBL, an Eisenhower team that just the day before lost to Silsbee 80-34! I am curious to see how they play from here on out.
whsalum Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Consistant play comes from the coach folks and Ozens is in Pt.Arthur these days.I know Duane isn't scared to rebuild but the reigns at Beaumont Ozen would be a huge career boost.
The Goat Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009
Goat's just being sarcastic trying to take some sting out of a big win!!
No, I really think they will win. I've told soulja this already, the jags are just gonna have to prove me wrong. ;)
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Is Franks overrated or is he in the wrong system?
BMTSoulja1 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 D. Frank probably can flourish in anyone's system since he can hit the 3 good, play the passint lanes well, and most importantly, create his own shot. The game vs Nederlan was his first game back. the kid probably didn't even start.Yes, Goat. We will see in the Gamble classic if the Jags have truely gotten better. But like I said befor, our district is down, making it wide open for anyone. Which is why I say this is a golden oportunity for Central. Yes, Nederlan do have probably the best big man in the district, but if they can't feed him the ball, then you have problems.
ForeverADog Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 This is a prime example of what happens when we make an effort to pass him the ball. I think he had about 24 points.
Michele Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 CONGRATS NEDERLAND .... YOU GUYS PLAYED GREAT!!!!
DP#1FAN Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 A few more losses at Ozen and you will be able to hear the rumbling.

BMTSoulja1 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Just remember... I think there was a year when Ozen lost 3 times in one year (1 tourney and 2 district games ) and still ended up wining district. I just wanted to remind you of that. We have to see more district games before the true 'rumbling' begins...

SHSTIGER Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 3 losses to one team can be explained away as a match up problem. They're getting beat all over the place this year.

Frank is a hot commodity for one of the top AAU teams in Houston. One of the coaches said he doesn;t like his game.....I think the kid is going to need some more exposure to get back on the radar.
ForeverADog Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 And all 3 of those losses came to a Brian English coached team. So with this win chalk that number up to 4 now. Anyone notice a trend here........

Lets see how they play coming off a big win..
bulldawg64 Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 sounds like the dogs can compete,English is a winner look at vidorwhen he coached there
