EC v Orangefield

EC gave up a 10 point lead to OF in the Evadale turn. Dont see them going that now. They are realy playing good together now, they have learning to play with a big inside player and with teams having to dubble team inside that has open up the outside shot. Their young coach has got the team playing together and with a mixture or SR and underclassman they have gotten better with evergame. They are not closs to Kountze yet but if the Lions stumble they will be ready to jump at the chance. No one gave them a chance to play with HJ They were one missed traveling call and a freethrow from taking the lead with 25 sec. left. So dont sleep on this team

[/quote] What bigs ?? the two kids that are 6 2 and 6 3 That ant big.  They do have major hops But that ant big. They could not handel the one true big kid that they played against at HJ.  Like I have said dont see any 2a team beating them as long as one stayes out of foul trouble and the others knee holds up. But  dont stumble like they did against HJ they blew a 10 point lead when Bray got his 4 foul.

6'2'' and 6'3 is not big at anylevel 6'6'' is big at 2a level ;)  I guess that why we will play the game ;D Seemes to me HJ was picked by 20+ Just tell me were I can get some of that action were you are going to give me 40 points I have a few coins to put down. ;D

[/quote]            I said in district 23 2A thats big but I'll put some coins down at the Lions Den Kountze wins by 30. I'm sure Joubert won't call the Lions off until the end of the 3rd.

Walker and Brey both play way above the rim at 6'2".No knock on the kid from EC but lets not try and make him something he's not.Carrington will be more of a thorn to the Lions because of his athletisism but they will both score at will even on him.I can see the Lions winning the district matchups by at least 30.

[/quote] Just tell me were to meet up with you before the game  and Ill take that 30 points for a coke  ;D I know we are nowere close to Koun. now but 30 points thats a streach. I also know that both SRs are at a different level than the JR but give him one more year at this poss. This is his first year at center with this new team. And if you know anything about BB there wont be a collage look at eather one of Koun. players to play the inside poss. the are both  guards and small forwards.

I thought I knew a little about basketball now I'm not sure.I know Walker or Brey won't play a post position in college.They both are about the size to play a 3 but their ball handling skills will have to improve to play for any of the mid majors.Just because a kid is 6'6" doesn't mean he can play even at a D-3 school.Look at the Whitmire kid next time you watch Buna(he's the coach now)he was an exceptional high school player.And played at ETBU for 4 seasons,a small D-3 school.You will be amazed at the talent level at even the smallest of these colleges.If you've never been in the Lions Den in a district game you are in for a eye opening experience.Heck I'll come down that night and buy you a coke without the points.

Well I havent been in the Koun. gym in 29 years for a District game so I guess I will have to wait and see. But I will take that coke. I wont be hard to find are hear ;D  Just look at the big kid then look for the old man in his mirror with about 60 lbs added >:( Just make it a DR Pepper and we have a deal ;)

[/quote] The Carrington kid is playing hurt and is deff not 100%  his sholder is hurt and needs to be fix but that would put him out for his Sr year so he is just tuffing it out. If he streches it out to far is comes out of place so if you watch him he tryes not to use it. I have seen him try to rebound with one arm. I feel sorry for the kid he is trying his best but you know it has got to hurt him. Just look at his stats for this year, they are not closs to what he put up last year.

Kountze hasn't lost a HOME DISTRICT game since January 2000.... ;D We were 3A back then also.
