Nederland beat their alumni 1-0
Kelly beat their alumni 2-1

Nederland's 2 best alumni weren't allowed to play.  Kansas City didn't want 2 of their players getting hurt in a scrimmage. ;D

Lumberton Girls - 4
Alumni - 1
I had the honor of coaching the Lumberton Girls Alumni. The alums were in better shape than I expected! Just not "soccer shape"! We only had 12 girls play. Although we did a great job of controlling the middle of the field, we did not finish well or mark up very well. Hats off to the Lady Raider Varsity. They did a great job against some girls that used to be very good players. Freshman Katie Evans and Junior Kacey Combest were like a wall on defense. And Juniors Katlyn Stowe and Stephanie Hernandez each had two solid goals. In the midfield, I kept noticing that we could not get around Junior Baylee Hart. She was all over the place!

It was alot of fun for me to be on the field with many of my old "Fillies" players, and against many of my current "Blue Heat" players.

Shark, these Lumberton girls must have taken your training well... ;D

WB girls 2
alumni 1
Saturday, January 2.  Of course, the alumni are dependent on who shows up for these games!

Not a bad turnout for alumni.  Spotted on the turf, U of Tulsa alumni, UTEP alumni, and mostly first team all district players in their prime, and coached by a Rice U alumni.
