LU had 24 assists and only 8 TOs!  :o  Nabors had another double-double, while Harper added 23 points and Harris 17.  Arkansas State was short handed so it's nice to see a big win like this.

You'll win a lot in the SLC with a 3 to 1 Assist to TO ratio, just not sure the Cards can do it night in and night out, but they are getting better as a unit. Win at home and sneak in a few road wins and they can make the SLC tourney.

It was good seeing a lot of the freshmen getting a lot of minutes this game and scoring.  Another plus was seeing Custer and Nwevo combine for 14 points and 10 rebounds.  I don't want to get too excited over this win because ASU was playing without 3 of their best players due to injuries so they had a pretty young team out there.  But I think a month ago LU would have struggled to win.

We did have some good battles.........Deane is a good coach, but he is passed his prime!!!  Time for him to hang it up!!!!
