The only things that upset me are: 1.  Hj can't play/beat Kountze two or three more times this year and hear you say how great Kountze is and how lousy HJ is  2.  That an HJ guy would try disguise himself as a Kountze guy

Maybe you are the one who was talking to a Kountze JV player during the Kountze JV tourney ( and yes, HJ JV PASTED the Lions JV) at the end of the bench and Coach Hancock had to run down there and tell his player that listening to you was part of his problem.

We scheduled 3 teams from last years 3a regional tournament! Tell Hj to schedule 3teams from the 4a regional tournament. I promise you yall won't do it. I don't see Hj jumping up 2 classifications to play better teams like us and Silsbee. You can't win this 1 bruh!

But according to "your" standards, HJ can't be claimed as a great team, and you lost both times to them, so you have to toss those games out.

As for Jasper, everyone that knows anything about basketball knows they were a one hit wonder last year. They won't sniff the playoffs this year.

As for talking about playing up 2 classifications, you guys played 2 4A teams, Lumberton(2) and Vidor, and 2 of those games were tourney games, not scheduled games. Whoopeee! What a gauntlet.

Great job Kountze for going 2-2 in those games this year...........Kountze beat Silsbee ( 8 days after they lost their final football game), beat Jasper who is down after their two best players graduated and lost twice to a "terrible" HJ team!!!

Way to really go out on a limb and play some tough competition........ ::) ::) ::)

Swag, I agree with what your saying. I just don't know if you realize what you are saying!!! You make comments about HJ playing 2A schools as if 2A is no possible threat to HJ. HJ is only 3A and not a big 3A either. If someone from outside our area read this board and didn't know better they would think HJ is a 5A school the way you talk about them playing down. You may not realize it but you are actually giving HJ a compliment everytime you try to discredit them. Thank you for that!! Anyway, we all know EC has had good teams in the past and even Kountze from time to time. But you keep refering to HJ's record as a 2A driven accomplsihment. I again agree with some of what your saying. By no means should HJ schedule Kountze in the future. Why should they?? This year is proof positive that a great 2A Kountze can't beat a HJ team with 1 good player and no shooters. And they did it not once but twice, so why would they even think about scheduling them again. No reason to be accused of padding their record as you have said. Again, I agree with you, HJ playing any 2A school should be considered senseless if Kountze is the best 2A has to offer. I'm just sayn: shack ;D ;D ;D
