AggiesAreWe Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 West Virginia head coach Bill Stewert will be in the Tiger Den taking in the Silsbee/Kelly basketball game. He is here making a house call to star recruit Jeremy Johnson.I am making arrangements to try and get Coach Stewert on at halftime. Stay tuned.

Guest swag Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Of course I'll be in Newton. You couldn't melt me and pour me in a gym which HJ is playing in. LMAO! Who has a nephew on HJ? My whole fam are Lions. Not Hawkettes!
TopDawG52 Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 This should mean good things for the Tigers. I remember when Bobby Petrino was in the Winnie when the Lions took on Tramain and the Bucs.. Tramain had a big night. good luck to Jeremy.
Lazeek Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 The only problem is that Jeremy does not play basketball anymore for the Tigers!!!!!!
Guest swag Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 I told yall a month ago that kid quit and the Hawkettes were lucky
Lazeek Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 The team with or without Jeremy is no different..........he was a fill in and not a impact player!!!!! If they were to lose Hill, Stallworth or Lane then that is a different story!!!!!!
AggiesAreWe Posted January 5, 2010 Author Report Posted January 5, 2010 No question in my mind that Jeremy would have helped the Tiger team in the long run. His great athletic ability was already showing on the defensive end of the floor. To me, it was just a matter of time for his offense to start coming around. He wouldn't have been an offensive leader, mind you, but he would have eventually made good contributions on that end. But, now, we'll never know. With that said, I do agree with you LAZEEK that losing one of those three that you mentioned would definetly impact the team much greater. In fact, I will throw in Avory Thomas too as a player we cannot afford to lose. This team is still very capable of accomplishing the goal that they set out for with out JJ. I have all the confidence in them that they can do it.
