baseballdream Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 It's the new Year and I don't see much activity on the board about everybodys teams. I don't know how good Barbers Hill will be this year with losing so many starters. I do know there are alot of talented players in Barbers Hill ISD. Who are your picks for 19-4a and why and who are your picks to lead the Golden Triangle and why. Lets get some chat going about your teams.
How do ya say Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 I'm ready for baseball season thats for sure. Hardin's 2010 squad should be competitive. The pitching will be a little deeper than it has been in the past couple years. In 23-2a look for Buna ,Deweyvile and E.C. also. 8)
The Voice Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 At LCM, Im sure the seed that is in the ground will produce a good crop. Some good dirt over at LCM. Lets see how the farmers work it. The last couple of times that the fields were turned over, it was a good harvest. Translated/ They are young. Deep talent pool. Same program. LCM seems to come back pretty strong after a big group leaves. Good luck bears.
Guest JoesBros Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Vidor is young they had alot of Soph's and JR's last season. Hopefully that experience from last season helps out for this season. The Pirates main problems last season was errors and getting that big hit in clutch situations. Should be interesting to see how the rotation sets up after Trae Hester. I think they will be a playoff team once again and hopefully get past the first round.
Cat22 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 There is a buzz in the air at Orangefield. Returning players + facility upgrades has brought some excitement. Not to mention a reunion in the works of the 1990 state team.
Guest Ititarod Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 PNG will put a very good team on the field :StoneReyengaJalaliSweetnamBenoitA bunch more I am sure.

westend1 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Westbrook is going to need to find some reliable pitching. May be a tough year for the Bruins.

Cool Hand Luke Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Last year every team in District 20-4A except LCM was young. Nederland has to replace a ss and lf; PNG 1b, C, RF; Vidor ss, 2b/3b(Griffin played both), & 1b. I think they will be the top 3......all have the pitching to win.

I think Stump's kid plays too. Wilson should be there #1 pitcher he is good as anyone.
The Dalai Lama Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 WB probably won't have an ace but they will have some guys that can throw and be competitive enough to win alot of games.

Reggie and Boom are top-notch. For his size, Reggie can throw some gas!A. Morgan will be there too for the Bruins. This disrtict should be much tighter in baseball.

Who I might say were eaten up with errors. Everyboby laughed at the thought of Kingwook Park taking district but look what happen. BH has a much better chance of winning district than the Goose.

The fact that a group of 9th, 10th and 11th graders with NO varsity experience came 1 run away from making the playoffs in their FIRST year? That some of the younger players made errors early in the year that cost GCM at least 2 games early in district? Or are you basing it on the fact that BH has 1 returning starter ( I could be wrong on this) and graduated a ton of quality players? You boy's better get locked and loaded!
