The Voice Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Any info on Kingwood Park. This is there 4th year. I hear they might be salty.
Guest GCMPats Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Same team as last year. No suprises. Solid defense, good pitching, and they can hit the ball. 22 days and counting.

Guest rambleonus Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Hopefully with the addition of the first senior class, KPark will be more competitve. If we make the playoffs we should have a better showing than last years series against PNG.

[/quote]This year at least you should not have your pitcher getting concussed during Spring Football practice. ;D
Guest rambleonus Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 I agree wth that but the team could have hit better. The pitching we saw was good but it wasn't anything we hadn't seen all ready. I think the lack of seniors and the leadership they bring was a factor. I look forward the seeing what GCM is going to do this year. Charlie Thames is going to bring alot to the team. Not only baseball knowledge but he brings alot of tenasity as well.

We need Cody Butler (LHP) to be huge. I think they will try and get him to focus more on the pitching side of his game this year. GCM has some solid sticks and we have had a couple of move-in's that will help as well.
