bullets13 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Kansas went down to Tennessee! Texas will be #1!

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 just added motivation for the best team in the country.
shorttexas1 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Just a bigger bulls-eye on them now... And with a tough road ahead, their first loss will happen by early February. On a lighter note, I think this is the first #1 ranking in the history of the basketball program.
shorttexas1 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 In fact I say we don't make it out of January... What a brutal schedule coming up!All RPI top 50 and higher except a dangerous Iowa State team in Ames and a OK State team in Lloylde Nobel! Those away games make those two teams even tougher!1/13 Iowa State1/16 TA&M1/18 @ Kansas SU 1/23 @ UCONN 1/27 TTU 1/30 Baylor2/1 @ OK State Talk about a meat grinder of a schdule. If we com out with only 2 losses it would be a BIG TIME accomplishment.
