cant be worse than Nicholas Cages southern accent. That is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I hate the way southerners are portrayed in almost any movie or TV show. We may say yall, fixin to, gonna, but dadgummit (haha) that don't mean we're dumb texans!

I only saw parts, but the beginning was too much like the movie, right down to the loudmouth player and the wife joking about moving to Alaska, this is not Permian so it should be different, they wear Pflugerville uniforms which has helmets that look like a blue and white version of Permian, coincidence I think not.

They filmed it there, a buddy of mine lives right behind the stadium ( Pflugerville) and watched alot of it as they filmed it.

I thought it was a wasted hour of my life. Too unrealistic. I mean the back up QB looked like a girl throwing the ball, but somehow manages to comeback and win down by 10 with less than a minute on a hail mary pass with no defense deep????? Too much Varsity Blues mixed in as well(QB gets hurt, hot girl hitting on QB, etc.). Cheeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssyyyyyyyyy.
