shorttexas1 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Whay is Damon James not seriously being considered for the Player of Year? I know Wall is the talk of college basketball and rightfully so, but James is on a tear! He actually avaerages a double-double and is shooting well. He plays the best in the Biggest games and normally is guarding three positions! He plays for one of the best teams in what might be the strongest conference. What do you think?Wall's averages 17pts 7ast 4rb 2stls 50%FG 39%3PT 77%FTJames Averages 17pts 1ast 11rb 1bk 49%FG 36%3PT 70%FT

However, do you believe that James can put the team on his shoulders late in the game like Wall can? That's the only advantage I see Wall having. [/quote]yeah, he can. he's been doing it all year.

shorttexas1 Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 Look at the stats... He has had his best games in the biggest moments.. NC game 25pt 15rebsMSU game 23pt 13rebs one of only two Horns in double figures and shot better that 50%ISU game 25pts and 14rebsAll these games and the Texas A&M CC game and the Colorado game he really showed up down the stretch. So yes he has carried this team to alot of wins. Kentucky has had more close games so Wall always looks like he carrying the team to the win!!!!

James gets his numbers despite the fact that Texas has 8 players that could start anywhere in the country.
shorttexas1 Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 Yeah, Wall is the PG so of course he dominates the ball!
