Guest coachacola Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 From the Beaumont Enterprise:The Lamar University football team will end spring practices with an intra-squad game April 10, LU coach Ray Woodard said Thursday. The game will be played at the university - likely at the Lamar Soccer Complex - or at a local high school field.The game will end four weeks of spring practices. The team will open spring training March 15, Woodard said. NCAA rules allow for 15 practices during the four-week period.LU is in the midst of preparing for its first football season since 1989.Season tickets will go on sale Jan. 23. No date for individual ticket sales is set. The team's first game is Sept. 4 at McNeese State. AJ25 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Wish I was able to make that, I have a game that day as well. I'm very excited about Sept 11 2010 for obvious reasons! Hope LU can pull in some solid O-line recruits this year, looks like they have the speciality players already.
