As for Silsbee players this decade, Desmond Doss was better than Sticks and Lockett. Doss was a 2 time district MVP and was on the Super Gold team twice.

Doss also was the only Silsbee player to be named district MVP in both football and basketball. He also made the Super Gold team in football.

If you put donahoe and Benard and those kountze kids from the Kountze 07 team  on this team you also have to think of the kid that came from WH Brandon Letsinger on it, he averaged almost 25 a game as a sophomore and junior in the toughest 2A district in the state .
