weasel Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 PNG Girls 5-0 over SilsbeeNederland Girls 3-1 over Goose Creek Memorial
sharkfutbol Posted January 20, 2010 Author Report Posted January 20, 2010 Kingwood park beat Kelly 3-0. They are big , fast and very good soccer team.. They took three shots on our goal from inside 18. One header made it in. The other two goals came on long shots. One a direct kick was mishandled and tapped in. The other was from about 25 out. So our defense played really well even though the score is 3.
Bon_Mot Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Nederland beat Brookshire Royal 3-0 this morning in Brenham. I think they are playing 30 minute halves on practice fields, but I'm not positive of that. They play powerhouse Boerne Champion next I believe.
domino Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 WB girls 3, LaPorte 1. Goals from Rachel Babin, Summer Brandimarte, Aaron Strawser. Saves by Stacy Dolan. Babin, Brandimarte, and Dolan all freshmen. WB last faced LaPorte in bi-district playoffs in March, winning 1-0. A good effort by WB tonight, entire team looked good. WB JV girls also won their game against LaPorte JV.
sharkfutbol Posted January 23, 2010 Author Report Posted January 23, 2010 Nederland went to half with Boerne Champion 2-1. Played the second half great and still ended up losing 2-1. That is a fine showing against a highly ranked team out of the San Antonio area.

It was a great team effort from a young team coming off a tie Tuesday with Pearland. Next up~ Deer Park.
