West Hardin vs. Sabine Pass in Nederland.

I totally concur with you on this issue.  In fact, I was at the Spurger-Sabine Pass game last Friday.  I could not believe what I was hearing.  One fan from Spurger called a fan from SP, using the "N" word.  This is not a reflection on Spurger's community as a whole.  However, there is no place for such a behavior.  It is beyond reprehensible and it is not something that we want kids to emulate.  The fan from SP that the young oiler was referring to, in my opinion, should be banned from future sporting events.  I hope the school does smoething about it.
well when the "fan" from SP cussed me out the principle went over there and warned him and he didnt listen to her. And when the "fan" started mouthing again a Nederland police officer went over there and sat by him and said i dont wanna hear u say anything about these players again or im gonna escort u out of here lol. Im glad that the fellow police officer was there or else i would of got ahold of that "fan" lol. The "fan" was just so rude like pitufo04 said it was probably some redneck that doesnt get out of SP alot.

Racial slurs should not be made at a game. Taunting players while they are hurt is also unacceptable. I was not at the West Hardin game so i will not comment. And as far as the Chase incident, it was not intentional, its a contact sport. Case closed. Move on!

IMO, if a fan has to be "talked to" by an administrator and later requires an officer to sit beside them we've become too tolerant of "fans" rude behavior.  When an officer gets involved it should be to help the fan in question outside.  He is not doubt an idiot!!!

by grown ups hurt or not, they are KIDS.
As for as the chase incident I dont think any one said it was intentional, chase didnt even think it was intentional, just shocked that it was not an off foul.Along with ever body standing right there where
it took place. And yes we as fans gave the ref an ear full for the rest of the game. And yes I was standing
along the walk way where the slurs was said to have come from.At that time it was me and two school
administrators and the county police officer. At no time did we hear anything racial go out towards any kids or fans. And i can tell you if we had heard anything like that at all that person would have been removed
and would have been band from school property.
I agree with u 100% people these days have become way to tolerant of fans behavior. If i would of been that cop i wouldnt of sat beside him i would of escorted him out and told him to stay off of school property...

First of all, no one cussed at anyone and no players were called the "b" word. Just because they lost don't mean they have to come up with random accusations. I was they by the guy accussed of this and it is completely false. The fan that heard that cussing is 100% wrong and everyone needs to get their story straight. Sabine pass's fans are loud but are not wrong in anyway. Come to a game and find out.

The accusations toward this fan are crap. Our fans are restricted so much theres no possible way anyone can say anything inappropriate without a school administrator or official saying something to them. IMO the oilers are sore losers and cant take some fans being loud. the fans during this game on the oilers side were making racial slurs and inappropriate comments towards sp during warms up before the game was even stared
