Haha....no actually I really looked at it last night and it is very good ranking.....I give Coop a lot of crap because of his "lovefest" with Kountze but I think it is very good but do feel that Hayes being ranked ahead of Turner is very much a slap at Turner and at HJ!!!

Rankings are great besides a few things but no one is ever going to agree with everything and that is the beauty of it.  Fact of the matter is you could poll every coach in this area and if you ask him if he would rather have turner or hayes it would not even be close.  Last year coop ranked hayes ahead of bernard..........that was a joke as well.  It happens all of the time but the truth is it is no big deal.  This helps promote kids and that is what this is about.  It is clear who coop wants to promote and that is his job and not ours!

No lovefest with kountze.  Just  a lovefest with Brey.  They fact that Brey is ahead of Walker is a joke as well.  Walker is the best player in the area no doubt.

Nobody's list will be perfect, that's what makes these topics great. I applaud Coop for doing this and also have no problem with folks argueing the list.

What I do think is lame though is the complaining and crying that is attached to the arguements. ;)


Coop, I thought the Conspiracy Theory video was great. ;D

Kountze would have to be at least 4th on the list as far as base teams................PAM would no question be #1, HJ is ahead of Kountze, Central beat HJ, but Silsbee beat WB and WB beat Central, Kountze beat Central (in a scrimmage) but Kountze beat Silsbee and Silsbee and HJ have yet to play............so who knows!!!!!  With all that being said Kountze will be high and HJ will be low!!!

Instead of making excuses and blaming refs, I spoke with Devin after the game and he didn't mention the refs.

He did get the ranking, top 10.

Sutherland hit big 3s, he got the ranking as one of the top shooters in the area. All shooters are streaky but the kid from LC-M has drilled 9 3s several time this season. I've seen Harley struggle too. Like Grayson, who struggled in the first Kountze game, he hit'em in the 2nd meeting.

What more do you guys want? WOW. I promise you guys I am not going to get into a match with this. I know some love to instigate and only seem to come out and post at (edited for at, not and) certain times, but make your own list....PLEASE.

I could go back and repost a lot of things that were posted by some like: "J'Covan will NEVER make it" and "Perkins won't last in the NBA".

I did go back and show your name on it..............Nobody questioned where you ranked Sutherland.............no need to research post............I made the comments about Perkins and Brown and have also made post saying that I was wrong and ate a little crow about it...........I guess it is a little easier for some to do that than it is others!!!!!! ;)

Coop also needs to read that I said the list is actually very good IMO!!!!  Most of this is in good fun and stirring the pot a little bit, however........................I do find it odd that two years in a row Hayes is ranked ahead of Benard and now Turner.................funny thing is I remember an exact quote that I was told just last year about a certain player and well what do you know that person is ranked pretty high again this year............wonder if that will change as the year goes on!!!

i've got no problem with the list, and i haven't even looked at it yet.  it's just one man's opinion, but that man has more local basketball knowledge than me, so i'll take his word for it.  if he's off on a couple, that's okay, too.  it's not like this list will effect where this kids end up playing in college (if they do).
