Last nite at High Island Senior Bailey Gravis reached a Highschool milestone. Scoring 16 points in her teams win over High Island, Bailey reached 1000 points for her Highschool career. She has now become 0ne of only three players to reach 1000pt. or more in the last 14 years of Coach Hollyfields coaching tenure at the school.
Bailey has played in 102 games for Hollyfield and has now totaled 1004 pt. She would be the first to say she didnt do it by herself. It takes great team mates around you to be able to score that many points. She is truly a team player and a very unselfish player
Congratulations Bailey and I know I speak for many who appreciate your hard work and dedication. Have a great second half of district.

All three of those young ladies are or were super talents. Holly and Bridget are both teaching and coaching, Holly has even gotten to go head to head with her old coach this season.

Bailey like the Holly and Bridget has benefited from one of the best run girls program anywhere at any level. Coach Hollyfield works his team hard, but he knows what it takes to compete from district on up.

Bailey and the rest of the Lady Rebels have a chance to make waves in the playoffs after they take care of business in district.

Oh, by the way the talent stream continues to be filled with young Lady Rebels and it would not surprise me to see the list of 1000 point players continue to grow in the years to come.
