HJ at HF/ HJ wins 50-29

HJ played a good game tonight defeating HF 50-29. This has the Hawks 5-0 after the first round of district play. Congrats Lady Hawks.

I don't really know. HF was shooting in the bonus 5 minutes into the 1st quarter. HJ was shooting in the bonus in the 4th. I am pretty sure HJ had more fouls but do not know the numbers. Maybe HJHawk can tell us.

First girls game I have seen this year and it was sloppy sloppy. Three girls hit the court - no call. Touch someone near midcourt - about 174 of those called.

foul count ended pretty even.... around 18 per team or so.....

The refs were horrible in this game. Not just towards one team, but just horrible period!

I guess since this was only our third home game of the season, I had no reference for the referees calling in the HF gym.  Let's just say that the reffing was as consistent as I have seen all season. ;)  As for HF, we need to go back to the basics.  Next practice we will meet outside of a barn and practice shooting at the broad side of it before we move onto practicing layups and jumpshots. ;D
