am i the only one who doesn't really understand the point of playing friendlies to warm up for the world cup with at most 1 or 2 potential world cup starters on the field?

Jimmy Conrad just picked up his second yellow in the first 17 minutes of the 1st half.  Honduras also got a PK out of the play, even though the player was nowhere near the ball, and a shot was taken from the other side of the box and went well over the goal.  I have absolutely no idea what the call was.  I do know i'm tired of the US getting early red cards every other game, and usually on bad calls.

We are watching.  I did not see the call either - but what do I know - I am just a soccer mom - lol.  I do understand that we are watching a friendly but I am not impressed with the US at the moment.  Just started the 2nd half - going to watch.

The USA has not had any good defending in alot of their matches lately.

Robbie Rogers was unlucky to not score... he beat the keeper and pinged the post from about 35 out.

to be fair, it's unlikely that any defender on the field tonight will see time in the world cup for the US, while Honduras is playing a lot of guys who will start in the world cup for them.

The US played well in the second half, especially considering being down a man.  the US hit the post and had one edge past it... they created good chances.
