Lazeek Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I mean how can I not give HJ anything but an A+++++!!!!Yes they lost to New Waverly and Central but they did beat the best team in the world Kountze not once but twice. ;) ;) ;)Honestly.............I will give the Hawks an A!!!! This is a year that most people including me thought that we would have a tough time replacing Benard, but many players have stepped up and made the transition a smooth one. The losses to Central and New Waverly are the only thing keeping me from giving them a A+!!!!
TopDawG52 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 cmon now we are talking houston Yates not the kentucky wildcats if they had john wall and company duhh nobody would come within 50 but we are talking Yates u think because they are # 3 in the nation they are untouchable lol and texas ball is a big difference then alabama ball
BLUEDOVE3 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010
cleveland couldnt beat kountze by 20 in cleveland cmon now last time these teams played kountze did not have devin bray or zay mcdaniel and kountze won by 20 in cleveland lol... as far as Yates beating ktz by 50 i would put my money on ktz in that spread no way the lions lose by more than 50 unless they are playing at yates gym thats a different story
::) ::) ::)

Who woulda thunk they would be tied for 1st place?
You mean, "who besides Coach English would have thunk it?" ;)I don't think anyone could question that grade, though.
Im not going to argue it but that isn't quite my grade for them. They played a pretty tough non-district schedule, but they lost several games they shouldn't have. Plus the Central game they played very subpar. But in district they have been great so overall I give them an A-. But they are very close to being A+. Get a couple playoff wins and that will leave no doubt!!!

I thought Big Ned had potential to be good but needed more varsity experience. So far, That hasn't been the case. Hope they can win tommorow at Ozen and take the driver seat in the district.
whsalum Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I'd have to send Warren to the principles office with a tardy slip.They just haven't showed up this year.I knew going in they would struggle big time with Kountze and Anahuac but I thought they would play hard and play everyone else close in district.They just haven't played with much heart the games I've seen.

whsalum Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 He would have a stroke.I think they have moved the defibilator inside just in case Cris has a stroke.I've been surprised at this group,they haven't seemed like they wanted play.As a group they are small but the could have played some pretty good defense if they would have put the work in.Hopefully the young kids will realize you have to get in the gym if you want to be competetive.
