Can any one tell me if UIL has put in a mercy rule for high school
basketball or is it just left up to the score keeper and and the idiot
running the clock?
Nothing against WH team or the WH fans they where great
but you have a small minded fellow running the clock that takes upon
his self to end the game as quickly as he can.
He started running the clock on out of bounds, and FT about mid way of
the 2nd and the whole 2nd half. Never seen such crap in a varsity game.
Seen it a few times in JR high but never in a District Varsity game.
The teams might have played 3 full quarters,maybe

and Mcgallion wasnt playing a whole lot after about 3 min in to the 2nd quarter.

taking money or give him a stop watch and let him time the boys running up
and down the court,just get him off the clock. ;D

Contrary to popular belief the football coach can't make the rules up in a varsity baskeball game.It's not fair to the bench players who have worked their butt off and may not get another opportunity to play this year.The official should have directed the time keeper to put the time back on the clock.
