Where's Central???
:D :D :D :D
Just keep in mind Silsbees' preseason schedule last year with nothing but play off teams, seems like that may have helped them get ready to beat WOS and take district. Looks like Hooks wants to get back on top of that district in a hurry.

What's up with that? Does anyone know if Alvarez is going to appeal to the UIL? Has he decided not to appeal and stay with 3A? The deadline is nearing (Feb 11.) to appeal for any changes. Does anyone have any inside that he has already?

Guest rykerx144 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I have not heard anything about Alvarez appealing. I think most are putting that just to be safe because you never know for sure what other schools in the area might have an appeal or UIL could make a change before the deadline and cause some changes in the scheduling. I think most put that as I did just to be safe.
Guest JoesBros Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Im hearing Vidor and Kirbyville might be at a neutral site
Guest rykerx144 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 thats what I heard initially. I haven't heard anything lately as to where?
AggiesAreWe Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 You cannot appeal you being moved up in a classification, but you can appeal what district you get put in.
RETIREDFAN1 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 The district you want to leave AND the district you want to go to must both approve it unanimously.....the UIL rarely goes against the decisions of the districts.....

Plenty of room at Pirate Stadium for this game. If any game needs to be at a neutral site, that would be the Texas High game because of the distance involved. A site close to halfway would benefit fans of both teams.
