It's a BIG GAME Friday night around the area!! Here are some key matchups in some of our area districts:


21-5A

(3-1) North Shore @ (3-1) West Brook  battle of the two second place teams

20-4A

(5-3) Central @ (4-4) LCM  two teams still jockeying for a playoff position, LCM won game 1

(4-4) PNG @ (6-2) Nederland  PNG needs a win to keep in the playoff mix

21-3A

(4-0) HJ @ (4-0) Silsbee  two top 6 state ranked teams, nuff said

(1-3) Orangefield @ (2-2) WOS  Bobcats need this win, WOS can solidify third for now with a win

23-2A

(5-2) East Chambers @ (5-1) Anahuac with a win, EC can pull even with Anahuac for that coveted 2nd spot

25-A

(4-0) Evadale @ (4-0) Spurger  1st place on the line between these two undefeated teams




Any comments on any of these games?

I am hoping the lineup change the coach Andrews has made workes this week with the EC V Anahuac. I dont think that Anahuac can mach up with Carrington and Dunigan on the floor together. Anahuac relies on speed and realy does not have much sizes. Carrington at 6'3'' and Dunigan at 6'7'' should give them trouble. But if it was not for this game I too would be at the Evadale , Spurger game.

Wow didn't realize so many great games! I will be at Nederland vs PNG. But I have never been to a Silsbee HJ game. I will make sure I go to their seemingly annual regional final game this year. But as far as picks I think WB rolls. Anahuac rolls. Spurger rolls. WOS rolls. Central rolls. Nederland rolls. And Silsbee wins close!

be at Spurger and Evadale game. Both IMO is going to be good close games.
AAW if you can get your hands on the tape after the game maybe we can trade
films.LOL

EC vs Anahuac =winner most likely to end up in the 2nd spot at the end of district
Orangefield needs to win more than any team on here I think,
will be hard to go 4-1 the second half.
Silsbee wins,because of the bigs in the middle(will be close right down to the end)
Spurger wins a close one do to the guard play and the match up on the in side.
The 4a match ups I think is a toss up the way they all have played this season.
I would like to see WB win but I dont know if they have enough to get pass N. S.

If it wasnt for my concert tonight id be right there with yall coop watchin HJ and Silsbee... as for the Spurger and Evadale game i really dont think it will be as close as ppl think.... Pirates are gonna roll... But I cant wait to watch the game when i get home tonight

actually i had made a promise a while back that i would take my girl but did not know the date of this game lol besides you wouldnt want me sitten there and telling you why Kountze shouldve beat HJ  and me rootin for Silsbee at the same time:) Although i was there last year rooting for HJ... you might have me tall and skinny with a Kountze hoodie lol

i was kidding of course.  i can't make it tonight, because i'm going to the HJ soccer game.  I probably would've skipped that game to go to silsbee, but seeing as i can watch it online i'll just head on home and watch.  i'll definitely be at the HJ/Silsbee game in Sour Lake, i'll be looking forward to meeting both of y'all then.

I wanna go to this game so I can witness Silsbee pluck the feathers off the Hawks tonight. But I promised myself that I would never be in the same gym again with the Hj Hawks unless we were playing them. U couldn't melt me and pour me in the same gym the Hawks were in. Plus its gonna be more oops in Jungle tonight. lol
