birdmascot
i hope that this EC team gives coach a great retirement gift by making it a long way! i played for him in the late 90's. he was like a second father to me, and i owe him so much. i'm so proud that my name appears on some of those banners right under him and coach john johnson! Guest ECBucFan
I have not mentioned anything about this because I was not sure the subject was for public consumption yet, but I want to 2nd those sentiments. Coach Penny is not only a great coach, leading the Lady Bucs to State once and regionals many times, but hes an outstanding role model for the players. Even more importantly, Coach Pennys Christian influence on the team through the years and EC community in general has been wonderful blessing! Thank you Coach Penny! :) You have done a great job and will be missed!
Bobcat1
East Chambers is so young...they have a great chance of getting to state the next few years. Whoever comes and takes that job will make a great run for a few years.

rupe13
Coach Penny is a class act. When I coached at Warren, he always had time to help out with scouting reports, etc on teams I would be facing - except EC, of course. I hate to see him go, but I hope he enjoys his free time - he's earned it. Good luck to you coach!!!!
setx12
Tonights Coach Penny's last home game! Hope all the E.C. fans can make it out, he has done great things for this program..he didn't lose a district game for 13 years, making it the longest winning streak in the state along with various other accomplishments that one is just great! The Cook
Whoa Nelly!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure that he has NOT resigned his job for next year. I would'nt bet that this is his last home game.
knows2much
Actually....his district winning streak was 88 games. Making it the second longest in the state. The longest is held by Barbers Hill with Over 100 district games without a loss. I cant remember the extact number but it's somewhere along the lines of 113 or so.
