463 DP Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 Heard a rumor that Wilson from Lamar Consolidated is one of the finalist!
win1soon Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Any new news on this one. Rumor is Jason Glenn, former NFL player.
Stranger Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 There was a board meeting last night according to their website. I have heard several names in the running but would like to know for sure.
texaslonghorn14 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Lydell Wilson from Lamar Consolidated will be the next head coach at C. E. King. He will be on campus full time in the next week to ten days.

Stranger Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Lamar Consolidated went 4-6 this year and did not play a freshman schedule. I believe they are also opening a new school down which does not help. I do know that Lamar Consolidated was his "dream job" because that is his home town. Makes you wonder why he would leave that place.
SETEXFan Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Has he had a winning season without a Rogers brother on the team?
Stranger Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Here is what I have found year by year at Lamar Consolidated:2002 1-92003 0-102004 2-82005 11-12006 13-12007 13-22008 6-32009 4-6
1KatKiller Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Got a buddy that coaches there & he tells me that the new school opening hurt them ( talent wise ) and they have very little talent coming up. All the speed they're used to is apparently gone.

NorthoftheBorder Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Talent is always necessary. I'm pretty sure I could round up some kids for Dayton"s 2010 team that even Stewart couldn't win a game with.
