Ozen looked much improved over last year. They move the ball around connecting passes, not playing kickball as they have in the past. Nederland had most of the starters on the bench the majority of the second half. The field was wet and muddy making it hard to move the ball effectively. Ozen has a chance to make it interesting for the playoff race.

He has been there for several years now....probably was not looking for the soccer job when he got it, but he takes it seriously.  He is a class act and a good friend of mine.  If a poll was taken, coaches and players would agree that he makes Ozen better every year.

cool, thanks for the info.  next time you talk to him, ask him if he's possibly interested in having a guy with 22 years of soccer experience (including 3 years of college soccer) coming and helping out a bit next season.  i work at the head start, which is about a 2 minute drive from ozen.  i don't think it would be a problem since i'm also an employee of BISD, but i don't know the guy, and i don't know the policies of BISD.  he might also might not want/need any help.
