Guest jhamilton Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Ok fellers about that time of year again and what up in our neck of the woods? I do not know who has what coming back other than Huffman should be ok bc have some pretty good kids coming back. What about the other teams? Can you smell that leather?
TeamJagUS Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 should be interesting to see how it shapes up, huffman definitely is the more "known" factor with alot of good pitching returning but you never know how the "staffs" of the other players in the district have shaped up since last year, anybody have any insight on that? i suppose thats the most important aspect because baseball is the sport where one player at that position really can dominate a game, so what do teams in 22 have?
3apantherfan Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Liberty has 3 players returning that started every game, or close to it. They are going to have a really tough season, they lost a lot to graduation, and one senior that decided to not play!
fisherman45 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 liberty should have around four or five starters returning and three pitchers returning. but the projected shortstop decided to not play this year
sports fan 929 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Tarkington has alot of starters returning and should be alot better than last year
quickfeet01 Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Catcher/Pitcher for Huffman Nathan Schwertner will definitely have the biggest pair of threats in district 22-3A
slappy09 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Tarkington has some ok players and one pretty good player a short stop i think. But it will be hard for them to even make playoffs they have no pitching at all. their best pitcher is probably a junior and he throws high 70's low 80's on a good day

fisherman45 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 ok Liberty has only lost 4 starters from last year and a coach. they'll get it just has started rough.tonight they will play for the cleveland tournament championship vs Tarkington
CMurder75 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 I pretty sure Shepherd has every Starter coming back. Besides maybe 1 who I think got cut?? ??? ???

Splendora, Liberty, Tarkington will all be close.
Guest jhamilton Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Saw Huffman play Humble (which is not a good benchmark) today and the looked ok. Hard to tell how good Huffman is bc lack of competion this weekend. They should win the district but will see as the season goes on.
Guest jhamilton Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 After watching the Falcons for the second time tonight they are going to be tough to be in this district. They have some young pitching and strong up the middle. This team is going to be a really good team over the next two to three years.
nevermiss Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Agree.. Huffman has plenty of underclassmen to line up behind Hash on the mound. Young team with a lot of potential over the next couple years. Three sophmores and a junior with solid gloves on the infield dirt. Might be fun to watch for a while.
