Texas won some big games early in the year. They have hit a "wall" the past few weeks. But come Tournamant time, your Big East teams will not be able to hang with the Horns.

ForeverADog Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 Well Pitt was no match for us earlier this year. Georgetown doesn't match up with us IMO. I think wvu is overrated. But Nova has much better guards than Us and matches our depth. They could beat us. Cuse is very long and athletic. We struggle shooting at times so I think their 2-3 zone will give us trouble. Those 2 teams will give us trouble.

bullets13 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 i'm just trying to be realistic. they've had very similar seasons, but UT had a slight edge in the quality of their non-conference schedule, and Cuse has had a slight edge in the quality of their conference schedule. Syracuse has 1 loss (against a current top-25 team), and Texas has 3 (all against current top-25 teams). They've both beaten some really good teams. It's worth noting that Syracuse' one loss came to a team that Texas beat handily.
Guest GCMPats Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Ouch! The G-town Boy's take one on the chin from South Florida tonight.

shorttexas1 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 The UConn lost was really suspect if u watched that game! The fouls were call 30 to 15 oin favor of UConn. Their height at all positions really gave us fits too. When Texas plays its best they can compete with anyone. Syracuse and that 2-3 zone wolud give us fits but I wonder if the pressure on their guards will nulify the issue? On a nuetral floor I think UT competes with the entire Big East. They match up perfectly with every other team.
