Recommended Posts

Taylor Trahan has had official visit offers from Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Commerce, Tarleton State, Chowan University in South Carolina, and Monmouth College in Illinois. Taylor was also offered "preferred walk-on spots" at North Texas and Lamar. He decided to stay close to home at Lamar and is excited to be part of local history. Go Big Red!!

No line backer

Their getting another one of region 3's best line backers then.  In addition to him, they got Michael Walker, from Brenham.  He was the 18-4A defensive MVP.  Utah also got Terrell Reese, an all state selection.  They recruited him for safety, but I think he's a better receiver.

Utah had a good recruiting season. Texas needs to get these type of guys

A&M tried to get Reese, but they didn't offer him a scholarship till the state championship.  Utah was after him since he was a junior.  He said that's why he picked Utah.  They were the first school to give him a chance.  Sherman spent a few days trying to change his mind, but had no luck.
