HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Asim Hicks has been added to the Lamar Football signing class after submitting his National Letter of Intent to LU Athletic Officials Thursday. Hicks, a 6-foot-1, 220 pound linebacker from Newark, N.j., was a two-year letterman at Dean College in Massachusetts. He was unable to submit his paperwork on Wednesday due to weather problems in New England. He was second in the Northeast Football Conference in tackles a year ago, finishing with 67, including 40 solos. He added four sacks and served as the team captain also. The Newark, N.J. native prepped at North Star High School. He was a teammate of current Cardinal Jonathan Epke at Dean, who was a member of the 2009 signing class.

I thought that was a J.C. His film on rivals looks impressive, he seems like he is capable of delivering some hard hits!

Ha my fault[/quote]Dean College is a 2-year institution. He should not have to red-shirt. Just like Blinn College is 2-yr, Lone Star College is 2-yr, etc. The word college does not mean 4-yr.
Guest coachacola Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 It would be nice if Lamar put the complete football roster up on their website. When I click the "roster" link I get a blank page.
