How does someone not mention Lamar and SHSU in any of these categories???

Favorite: Southeastern Louisiana
Contenders: Texas State, UT-San Antonio, Northwestern State
Darkhorse: Nicholls State

Most "Iceland" teams head south for the winter so that they can actually play games. It's a little rough playing baseball in the snow. ::)

I definitely think we should at least be mentioned as a contender. Preseason ranked 3rd in both polls. But whatever. Its his opinion. Still think we will prove him wrong.

I agree with Terror - go out and schedule somebody Gilligan.  When you beat up on stepsisters at the beginning of the year, you don't know how to react when you get into conference play and get slapped in the mouth. 

If you want to be respected go play somebody - anywhere.  IF UT won't come to your place - go to their place and beat them.  Same for Aggie and LSU.  I for one am ready to see Gilligan retire.

By the way. Nicholls will be lucky to win 7 conference games this year. No way they are a darkhorse.
