Lion1
It's always fun to watch Newton and C-C,no jacking around ,both teams are going to line up and run at each other and game over in 1 hour and 45 minutes, shake hands and get on the bus, just good old fashion football by 2 succesful programs. Guest Jmeek
Did not loose alot of talent this year, a few key players (QB Halston Flannigan DE Malcolm Mattox)were loss but there is alot more coming back than what Newton loss. they should have a much better D and the O is going to be taken over by last year's starting soph Trevor holmes who started at outsidelinebacker but played QB on 7th 8th and JV but has no experience at Varsity QB. He is a good kid smart with a great arm and he can run, it will be interesting to see if he can grasp the Offense by week 1, He will be tested early by a good Kville D. Also All state selection RB:Kelvin Bennett is back and 3/4 of the D is also returning. The Toughest test's of the regular season should be the Kirbyville Wildcats with Silsbee being a far second. then Corrigan Anahuac and EC
