Guest jhamilton Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Great win for the Cards and heating up.
Guest coachacola Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 5 conference wins, 13 total wins with a gimme coming up against Lyon College. 8-8 conference record and making the SLC tourney is very doable now. Hopefully they can keep this up and steal some more wins.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Big win...Got there before half...SFA had some big boys inside.
LU4LIFE Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Yea this was a quality game to win and hopefully they can build off of it and keep the wins coming.
GeauxLamar Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Great win for team..and good one for Roc..he really made some good adjustments when SFA took the 5 point lead at the start of the 2nd period...they came back quick after the timeout.
ForeverADog Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 I thought minors back to back threes saved the game for us. Their big guys were very skilled and talented in the post. And down the stretch miles was money time and time again on isolation plays. The smaller SFA guard couldn't hold him. That and nabors cleaning up the glass was the difference.
badndn Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 I think 14 points and 12 rebounds (7 big off rebounds) out of our Centers (Nwevo & Custer) was very big. Also, Nabors worked harder than any Cardinal in years down low at getting position and making things happen (drew a lot of fouls). Great game from our Senior leader!
BadMedicine Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 You are right, badndn, Justin Nabors is a joy to watch. His enthusiasm and hustle make watching him play worth the price of admission.
