The Starting line-up should be:

Pittman
James
Johnson
Bradley
Brown

With Mason, Balbay, Hamilton, and Chapman off the bench!

Mason would be my sixth man and Hamilton the seventh....

Brown can be a dynamic point if he works on his player recognition... Noticing how much heat to put on or take off a pass, Noticing who is ready for the pass, and not over dirbbling on the pass opportunities... All are simple fixes.  The main problem is Pittman, we need him to man up and stop playing soft.  He tries not to use too much energy on the offensive end and often leaves himself easily defended by not exploding towards the rim!!  And we need to establish a back-up big for the rotation and I don't like Wangmene!!! He hasn't grown a bit!! Hamilton is the seventh option because he does not understand basketball.. His BBALL IQ is severly low!  We can make a run with that 9-man rotation... Jai is very disappointing!

This is my final fixes...

Mason and Balbay cannot play at the same time!
Pittman needs to get aggressive!
James is fine but needs to move more without the ball!  Let him be the three and allow him to post during the game... Most three men cant hold hi!
Brown is your PG, right it in stone!
Mason is the sixth man and tell him to drive it to the paint at every opportunity!  We need bench scoring!
Tell Balbay to shoot hit or miss... You never know how bad of a shooter you are until you shoot!
Use Hamilton when he is hot and bench him when he is not!
Use Jai, Wangmene, and Hill for fouls!  I miss Ward even more now!
Tell Bradely to move without the ball and let him get the ball in rhythm.  On defense he needs to back up a bit and stop reaching! It is OK to do at times but not continuously, sometimes you just need to contain! Ever heard, "I you reach I teach!"

One of the problems with texas is they are constantly giving up something. With mason and/or balbay in you suffer on offense since neither is even allowed to shoot. With Brown and Lucas in the game your offense picks up but neither is really any good at defending. So something gets exploited either way.

brown has actually played good defense this year, but balbay may be THE premiere defensive guard in college basketball.

Here's my suggestion to fix the Horns: SCORE DANG IT!
It's like watching a bad Jr High Girls game at times.

I'm just glad this is happening now. I still think they will make a run in March.

You know, I watch Pittman explode off the floor for blocks, then not jump for lay-ups and dunks... He hedges hard (too hard) on guards on the screen!  It is funny watching a guy take athletic breaks on OFFENSE!!! TRhat is usually when most guys give their all!

Jacovin plays decent defense... He is not a in your chest guy but he is more of a containment guard.  Yes he can be beat off the dribble but he will try and turn a player into the defense, no he is not quick but he is smart, and he doesn't take too many chance4s!!! (Unlike Balbay & Bradely)

Jai Lucas should not even see the court... That kid should be in the Southland conference.  He is not good enough for Big Time D1!  Doesnt have the heart and grit of his older brother!
