Go-rilla Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 T-town can yall get the 2nd place spot???
Hupernikomen Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Not as bad as the first time around. What are the updated standings?Who should the 3 representatives in this district play 1st round?
UKCats Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Tarkington has to win out and Coldspring has to lose to someone other than Cleveland if the Horns want a chance at the 2nd place spot. I believe that district 21 is not so cut dry as far as playoff guesses. HJ and Silsbee still have to play in HJ to see if there is a split. Cleveland and (W) of 21, my guess is Silsbee, will get the bye. Coldspring should play WOS and Tarkington should play HJ. We'll see though ;-)
TeamJagUS Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 actually it was 96-66, not a big difference but for the sake of accuracy....does ttt stand for TECH TECH TECH...??the way cleveland came out the horns might have missed a decent chance to win that one, if that was the first time i had seen them play i'd laugh if you told me they'd most likely be state bound, every team has an off night, and maybe they're just not as good on the "road" but that was not the same good shooting team i'd seen before. oh well, anybody know how coldspring/splendora came out? EDIT:splendora lost to coldspring, nm, coldspring losses to cleveland and liberty and two horns wins against liberty and huffman will tie them for 2nd
sports fan 929 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Does anybody no who cleveland is playing in warm up game
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 They were going up in East Texas but I hear now they are going to Houston. An invitation was sent for them to play in Beaumont at the Montagne but they declined.
sports fan 929 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Just heard Cleveland is playing Houston Bellaire for warm up game
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Yep....They pulled out of going to East Texas. This is supposed to be played at Texas Southern next Saturday. Bellaire was supposed to play La Marque but they pulled out. Lots of teams shift over the last week and head to other areas to play warmups ;)

Go-rilla Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 montagne center vs. TSU!!! and you choose TSU???
backdoorcuts Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010
montagne center vs. TSU!!! and you choose TSU???
Play in front of 5,000 or 500. Plus the #1 team in the state 5a, no-brainer.
Go-rilla Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 last time I went to Montagne there was not 500 there. I do see your point on playing Bellaire! I just wish it was going to be in the montagne center. I like watching all of the good east texas schools at one time.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 If Yates doesn't play there, there will not be 5000 people to watch Bellaire and Cleveland.

thickems Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Cleveland is very talented but lacks lots of character. Don't know how they will do in the regional tourney against teams that are equally talented but don't gripe, wine , and pitch fits on the court. As a a huge basketball fan I was very dissapointed!!

gamoty Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 That's a low blow, but I am sure you have seen plenty of games involving Cleveland this year.
sports fan 929 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Cleveland will be fine they had a bad game they will bounce back strong
