Djones8301 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 What are some of your thoughts on this comment."Our massage therapist told me, 'You know, coach, what happened in Haiti is a catastrophe. What you're having is a disappointment,'" Williams said. "I told her that depends on what chair you're sitting in. It does feel like a catastrophe to me, because it's my life."
bullets13 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 i think what he was trying to convey wasn't out of line, but the way he did it certainly was. obviously the struggles of NC basketball is irrelevant next to what has happened in Haiti. Still, if you take what he was trying to say as "This is my life and career, so to me it's incredibly important", then i can understand where he was trying to come from, although it was a terribly unfortunate choice of words.
