STILLWATER, Okla. -- Former Oklahoma State basketball coach Sean Sutton has been arrested and accused of attempting to illegally obtain prescription painkillers from out of state.

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs spokesman Mark Woodward says Sutton was arrested Thursday night when he arrived to pick up a shipment of painkillers under another person's name.

Woodward said Friday that Sutton was arrested on charges of attempting to possess a controlled dangerous substance and use of a communications device to facilitate a felony.

He says the package Sutton picked up contained about 40 pills, including the muscle relaxer clonazepam, two forms of the stimulant Adderall and a fourth, unidentified substance.
