Give credit where credit is due.  WOS was at the top of their game for the 2nd half with HJ and they won.  They deserved to celebrate, just as HJ did when they beat Silsbee last night, only because they were at the top of their game!

I think district 21-3A will be well represented in the upcoming regional playoffs!  After all, its become a tradition, hasn't it?

HJ vs. Jasper (just one year after they left our district).

And in the 5 years the Tigers have been back in AAA they have been to the regional tournament 4 times ,  3 regional championship games ,  1 regional championship and the one time they lost before regionals was a regional quarterfinals loss to WOS who won the region that year.  An impressive record for our district.  I wonder how many other disticts in the state has a record like that in the last 5 years where it has been more than one team from that district.

Last year was the first time since Silsbee has been in 3A that the regional championship didn't go thru Silsbee.

'05  Diboll beat Silsbee regional finals
'06  WOS beat Silsbee quarters, WOS won the region
'07  HJ beat Silsbee in OT regional finals
'08  Silsbee won the regional championship
'09  Jasper defeated Silsbee in semis, lost to HJ in finals

That is pretty impressive about Silsbee, I didn't realize that. HJ has made it to the regionals 3 times in the last five years and won it twice ;D. All in all 21 3A s darn good...
