Silsbee vs HJ referee's?? What a joke!!!!

Yes, they left the court in break neck speed. They almost crashed into our camera's and broadcast table. I was trying to get one of them to stop and do an interview after the game, but they went into their locker room and didn't leave until the last car left the parking lot. ;D

if this the kind of training your going toget. The chapter  needs to hire outside officials or even college
officials to come train in this area ;D

I can tell you from expeience training hasn't been the issue.Up until this year Mike Simpson has been the training official and he is not only a great official but an even better teacher.You are taught as an official to get off the floor quickly after the horn.The first game I ever called I retrieved the ball after the final missed shot,my mentor,Tom Settle, gave me a clear message .Nothing good happens after the final horn to an official.The lead official in this ballgame is very good official.I texted my sister 1 minute into this game and told her 2 of these guys were in over there head.Believe it or not officials have bad games just like players and they are the first to know it.

I think they gave us the best they had...I have seen worse....Everyone is complaining, but it has to be very difficult to call a big game like that. I hoestly thought that ONE of the best gams we had called was the game that we lost to silsbee, but there is always a litte contraversy in every game called.

Heard it all year........HJ won because of the refs, HJ won because it was at HJ, HJ this, HJ that, etc!!!!!!  Gets old!!!!  If HJ beat your team just admit that they were the better team that night and move on!!!!  I have done it 4 times this year and on all 4 of those nights it was a combination of HJ's opponent being better that night and because the HAWKS lost the games NOT the referees!!!!!!  It is amazing how some people think!!!!!!

HJ beat us the threes killed us and the stretch in the fourth.  Could it have been different if the calls had been different...sure.  Would it have been... we will never know.  The Hawks seemed to want it a little more tuesday night..maybe the Tigers were flat when nothing else was at stake..  Either way we were outplayed.  We weren't at our best and the Hawks were.

BTW I looked up one time and your wife was hollering and cheering so loud that I thought that she was gonna blow a gasket!!!  I think it was at the point that the Silsbee fans were chanting District Champs and the HJ fans were chanting 3 Time State Champions!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

I gave HJ all the credit.

I have stated that the officials were terrible for both teams.

You were the one who came running to the broadcast table at halftime complaining about the refs. Then when I told you the foul count, you were speechless. ;) ;D

I knew that Silsbee had committed more fouls that HJ.........I was just upset that every time HJ drove to the hoop nothing was called and that when Silsbee drove everything was called!!!!!  Silsbee had more fouls because they did not adjust to the refs in the 2nd half!!!! :D :D :D
