I thought some of them were just intentional fouls not flagrant. Grabbing around the waist on a breakaway etc. Now the one at the end was flagrant.

Yes, the one at the end I would agree with.The others probably should have been shooting fouls but I don't know about the possession.It's no secret that clubs are gonna foul to stop the break but you don't often see 5 possessions awarded after the foul.

Yes, I agree there were too many I just saw one or two others where they basically wrapped both hands around the players waiste.  These have been called intentional more times than not other than late in games when a team must foul.

They were on Tarkington. Last one on a dunk attempt by Turner. He was hit real hard obvious. Others were questionable but a couple early involved grabbing a player around the waist to prevent him getting to the basket on a breakaway.

grabbing them like that on a breakaway is usually two shots and the ball, as far i've seen.  it's really a dumb foul, because if you make even a little effort to at least reach towards the ball and create contact, they won't call that intentional foul.

there is no intentional and flagrant in high school
there is only intentional and it is defined as a player not making a play on the ball
and that happened THREE times last night not five

That's wrong. There is a "flagrant foul" in high school basketball. It is common foul but when deemed flagrant, it is an automatic ejection.

on top of that the first time if i remember the shot was actually made making it an and one....how often does that happen?
