This Year will be Tricky No doubt.

1.Central/P.N.G -I see one of these two teams winning the district..
3.Nederland -Donte Forney will lead this team Next Year..Should be pretty good
4.LCM,Ozen- LCM has aLOT comeing back, Ozen has some good ath Comeing back n Had a really good freshman team n decent JV
6.Vidor-My Dark Horse Team. Even tho they lose a ton, I think Their Still Dangerous, n could easily be in the 4th spot
7.Lumberton-Dont see them doing much next year
8.Livingston-Dont know much about them, dont think they have key players comeing back from last year

Idk..
I gave them that Rank,Because they lost key players from a Non-playoff Team..So i dont see them being any better Next Year...But we could be wrong..Last Year they had Central 5th n we went 3 rounds..so i just see these as Opinions

i agree that is exactly what i was thinking

LCM has from 14-16 returning starters (depending on how and when you count it.)  They have 4 or 5 players from last year's freshmen team that will make immediate contributions.  They have 10 players that will graduate 3-year starters, and lose none of the skill position players on offense, besides Johnny Epps, who started the first 5 games but was primarily cornerback the second half of the season.  However, they do play both PNG and Nederland away, inexplicably, for the second straight year.  Anyways...

1.PNG-losing a bunch, but PNG always is senior dominant.  Faircloth really knows how to capitalize at such a football-crazy school.
1a. Central-also lost a bunch (i think losing Hale will hurt them worst.)  However i seem to remember counting out last year's team for the same reason.  The returning running back (Heard?) is legitimate
1b.LCM-obviously my favorite team, but with all those returners in the second year of Coach Crouch's system, with how much they improve from '08 to '09...
4.Nederland-Surely Forney will qb again next year, it's just surprising they didn't put him there sooner.  I think, as far as returning players goes, Nederland is better off then Central or PNG
5.Lumberton-has Ryan's Hughes and Asher returning, as well as a host of will-be juniors and seniors.  I see them being better than last year, but the loss of Jesse Sparks, Kyler Keith, Anthony Beard, etc will hurt them
6.Ozen-The two running backs are back, and that should keep them out of the district basement.
7.Livingston-I believe Blake Burnman was a junior.  Also, they had a big sophmore rb who should be decent.  But last year's team wasn't impressive and i don't see why this year's team will be any better.
8.Vidor-by far, the biggest disappointment of last season.  You had a team with a huge number of returning starters, many of which had played varsity since their sophomore year.  Vidor was the hot choice for district champs.  They dominated non-district (albeit against lesser competition.)  They ended up crawling into the play-offs and bowing out in the first round. They have no speed on a team with 3 returning starters.  And btw, the fan's conduct at last seaon's homecoming game against LCM was shameful and embarrassing.

1. Jaguars (again, went the farthest in the playoffs)
2. Indians (Undefeated season in 2009..  enough said)
3. Bulldogs (Forney may be the district's leading passer)
4. Bears (Coach Crouch will have them ready featuring the hotshot reciever...forgot the kid's name)
5. Panthers (The freshman RB will be back as a sophmore, but unfortunatly, it won't be enough)
6. Pirates ( No Pittman...  No success)
7. Lions (No more beasts to keep them competitive)
8. Raiders (Back to normal...)

Yeah me too, I went to the game last year and don't recall any problems with either team's fans.

Unless 7 other teams ramp up their games quite a bit, I don't see Lumberton being the cellar dweller anymore. Will they take district, I couldn't say, but you can bet Creduer will have them ready to play. They will get back in the playoffs sooner than later.
BTW, to look at the unofficial schedules, Lumberton is going to have a real busy night October 22nd, it looks like we are playing, Nederland, PNG and Vidor all on the same night.  :o

Several flare-ups resulted in a group of Vidor fans (overflow, had to sit on LCM side) had to be escorted out by police for inappropriate behavior, though in fairness, an LCM student was also forced to leave.  There was also reports of less-than-friendly heckling by Vidor fans as LCM walked to and from the locker room at half-time and at the end of the game.  Most comments were simply untasteful, although there were reports (and I, at the concession stand, heard one fan myself) of racial slurs...However, i am obviously calling out vidor fans in general.
