Silsbee vs Bryan Rudder.

Wow Thursday makes it a little tougher but they need that extra day for the monday game.  Boy if they think we are slow they are gonna be a little suprised.  Hopefully the threes won't be falling in bunches.  They will have trouble shooting over our height so that will help.

Seen Rudder play....they are quick and can shoot lights out. Their press is relentless.....they are going 4A next year.
[/quote]I don't know who Rudder is but if they are seeking to play Silsbee, I was guessing that ain't no little dogs in the pack.

Also I was told tonight that the game will most likely be played at North Shore on Thursday night, week from tonight. Still not official, but most likely the place. The date is a definite, they both want to play on Thursday.

Will rudder run Silsbee out of the gym?  Not sure, but being at Livingston the last couple of years I completely understand the superiority complex people from SE Texas have towards all things SE Texas, and your assumptions that Rudder can't play and that Silsbee will run all over Rudder.

I have seen Rudder play and they are going to run, run, run.  They sub in 5 at a time on a regular rotation. 5 in - 5 out.  They press you relentlessly and they shoot a ton of threes.  They will be a formidable foe for Sislbee and it should be a good game.

Rudder is young and yes they like to run and live and die by the 3 but overall Silsbee wins this one but not without a fight from Rudder, the experience of Silsbee will be the difference here , you have to understand Rudder is made up of Sophs & JR's they won't have a Sr class untill next year . With that said if Silsbee is not ready to play it could get tuff . We ( Navasota ) beat them by 20 at there place and they beat us by 7 at ours , they came to play and we didn't .

The Tigers will need to be ready to play every game from here on out. If not they will have a tough time. But it is the playoffs so they should be ready every game. Rudder is a running team one thing that should limit that will be offensive rebounds. Control them and it will limit Rudders running. Then we need to make them work with our press.

hehe.  i've seen them play a couple of times, and they're pretty scary :)  the most frightening things about them are their size, athleticism, and balance.  they have 4 or 5 guys that can carry them on any night, but they usually get a good effort from 6 or 7 guys.  if they play the way they're capable, Rudder's going to wish they had flipped a coin.  If they don't play that well, it may be a close game, but i still don't see them losing.  They're going to crush Rudder on the glass, and Rudder could shoot 50% from deep and still lose by 15.

    • Uh oh MAGAS, any issues with this? Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief. Reportedly he will take a softer approach to tariffs, which are inflationary and pass throughs to consumers, as all 1.5 of us on SETX know
