Henderson shouldve play this game and get us ready, our district was horrible and we were playing these weak teams and it will cost us, playing yates only could help us and could get us ready 2 play tha bellaire's and kingwoods
[/quote] Or it could demoralize team spirit ;D

What would you predict the score would have been?

I'll tell you why if your someone like Memorial you don't want to play yates. Say you actually get the game well just imagine the buzz of the community and the players. Emotions would be high and the warm up game could quickly become a bigger deal than the playoff game. Say you go in play an emotional first half but then yates pulls away and wins by thirty. Well now you have a team who
is physically and emotionally spent and potentially demoralized.

On a side note people please understand Yates is as good as advertised no one in this are can beat them so stop asking for the matchup

Yates wouldn't have even agreed to play Memorial.

Not really...A non playoff 3A vs. a ranked 5A.

losing by 30 (or 60) in a warmup game gong into playoffs would be counter-productive.  if you can't get a game against a team that you can actually work on things against (besides the press break, of course), it's not really preparing your team at all.

ask Bellaire about playing Yates for a warm up. lose by 50 then lose in the second round.

    • Uh oh MAGAS, any issues with this? Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief. Reportedly he will take a softer approach to tariffs, which are inflationary and pass throughs to consumers, as all 1.5 of us on SETX know
